Set Amongst the Vindhyan Hills of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 437 sq km,
 Bandhavgarh was established as the Shikharghar for the Maharajas of Rewa. Bandhavgarh has been the epicenter of human activity for over 2000 years. The legendary epic Ramayana mentions Laxmana Brother of King Rama who hols the title of "Lord of the Fort". This mighty fort has its cliff almost 1000ft above the countryside. Imposing statues of Lord Vishnu in his various reincarnations dot the fort and a unique 35 root reclining statue known as "Shesh Shayya" is also located at the base. |

Bandhavgarh National Park is extensively rich in its flora and fauna and has the reputation of having the highest density of Tigers in the World. The moist deciduous Bandhavgarh forest is covered by Sal trees, on the upper slopes it is replaced by mixed deciduous forests. Towards its North there are large stretches of Bamboo and open Grasslands. |

 The resort has 18 elegantly furnished luxury cottages. The balcony of the cottages overlooks the marvellous and gigantic hills of the Vindhyanchal range. When you come back there is running hot /cold water in the attached luxurious bathrooms including a bubble bath if you so desire. Resort has a 24 hrs power backup with a stand by generator. Adapters are provided in all the cottages for easy connectivity of your electrical gadgets. |

At the Tiger's Den your day begins just before dawn with wake up call along with a cup of tea/coffee at the designated time (i.e. if you are not already up by some call from the inhabitants of the Jungle). Breakfast is served in the Restaurant serving delicious and a rich variety of Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental cuisine. Resort provides some fruits neatly packed and a bottle of mineral water for your safari in the jungle. After the delicious lunch you again would like to go back to the Jungle, to trace the Tiger or the beautiful birds of Bandhavgarh. A welcome drink to quench your thirst is provided the moment you enter the resort in the evening after the safari. Bon-fire with bar-be-que can be organized. |
